LUNCH BUNCH NOTES, November 8, 2016

What a beautiful fall we have had!  And today was no different.  The leaves are hanging on longer this year making a beautiful drive from Westerville to Zanesville.  We had 20 classmates and friends present at our lunch.

Cornelia very kindly gave the blessing today.  Thank you!

We were sorry to learn that Jane Peugh Caldwell's sister has passed away.  She had Alzheimer's Disease for many years.  Our sympathy is sent to her family.

We were sorry to also learn that classmate Glenn McCutcheon passed away in October.  His obituary is under news on our WEB site.  Our condolences go out to his family.  Glenn was faithful about coming to our Lunch Bunch, and we all enjoyed him.  He will be missed.

Carl Factor is joining a lot of his classmates by having a total knee replacement on
December 5.  We are wishing him a quick recovery.

Please also keep Marty and Kinsey Tanner in your prayers.  Marty's ovarian cancer has returned.  She is quite an optimistic person and a strong fighter!

Tuesday, December 13, we will have our Christmas party at Bryan Place at 11:30 AM.  Lunch is $20 per person which includes the gratuity, and will be paid at the door.  RESERVATIONS are required.  So if you have not already signed up to attend, please call Marty Cannon at 614-890-9948, cell 614-774-5368.  Also, if you find you are unable to attend,  please call to cancel since we have to pay for all reservations!  Again, this year we will be bringing non perishable items, canned food, or money to donate for the Mount Sterling Food Panty.  We hope that Kinsey Tanner will once again deliver the food.  Thank you to Sondra Philip and Maryanna Fenton for making the arrangements.

It was nice seeing Sondra Philip back after bypass surgery, and moving out of her home into a new place.  That is no small feat.
We had 22 sign up today at the lunch for our Christmas Party.

Forever on Thanksgiving the heart will find a pathway home.  On this particular day in America, the concept of giving gratitude and thanks surfaces in almost every home.  Have a peaceful, blessed and happy Thanksgiving.  I am having 26 family members this year, so it may not be peaceful, but will be wildly blessed and chaotically happy!

I am looking forward to seeing all of you on
Tuesday, December 13, for our Christmas Party at Bryan Place!
