Lunch Bunch Jan. 9, 2007

The sun did rise after the OSU loss and we had the first snowfall of 2007.

Sixteen of us braved the storm (it had melted by noon) and attended the January lunch.  We had a great time visiting.  Melanie Sterling was there for the first time in a year and a half.  She keeps busy exercising (golf and bowling) and mentally (bridge) which keeps her looking just like she did in high school!

Marge Dixon brought pictures from the December lunch and plans to send them to Tom to put on the web site.  Sandy Geyer Miller sent a letter with updates of her activities the last year.  Margie Phillips sends her wishes for a Happy New Year to all.

Carol Hoffman visited Dwight Long and told us how much he enjoyed attending the December lunch.  We hope you can join us again soon, Dwight!

Gerald Roberts and Bob Ross had some great vacation stories but youíll have to ask them about that.

We discussed attending the 94th Aero Squadron to hear the big band but decided we would wait until May when the weather is better.  How old are we?  Very!  I did explain that I would not have a bed and breakfast in case of bad weather.

We will be looking forward to seeing many of you at the February 13th lunch at the Golden Coral.  Letís hope Martha Kay will be able to attend and write these damn minutes!
