LUNCH BUNCH, April 12, 2016

After all the rain, wind, and cold weather this past month, we finally have a beautiful sunny day.  Twenty-one classmates and friends attended our lunch!  Bill and Marlene Rushay, Cornelia and her friend, Theresa, were about an hour late due to a semi accident on I-70.

Jerry Richardson very kindly gave the blessing.

Tom Hale and Carl Factor will be attending the May lunch.  We hope to have a good turnout.

Mary Elizabeth Brown Hinkle has been moved to Amber Park Assisted Living to continue her rehab.  Her address is 401 Hill Rd N., Apt 220, Pickerington, OH 43147-0189.  We wish her a speedy recovery.

Martha Pettry was being served lunch at her church today for all the women who were seventy or older.  She decided she was in that age category, and since she had worked in the kitchen for many years serving women seventy or older, decided to attend.  We will see her next month.

Sadly we have lost three more of our classmates.  Our sympathy goes out to the family of Shirley Miller Orwig who passed on 3/6/2016 at the Oaks of Bethesda, and to the family of Richard (Dick) Eugene Zinsmeister who passed on March 26, 2016 as well as Barbara J. Floyd.  Barbara passed on April 2, 2016.  May they all rest in peace.

It was nice to see Chuck and Sue Gause, as well as Jim and Pat Burkhart.  Both couples have recently returned from spending the winter months in Florida.

Bill Rushay suggested we go to the Buckeye Lake Winery for our lunch bunch.  When I got home, I checked their WEB site, and they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We can discuss this next month and see if there is anyone interested in going on another day for a lunch outing.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you next month at 11:30 am at the Golden Corral on May 10.
