LUNCH BUNCH, April 8, 2014

Sweet April showers do spring May flowers!  Flowers are popping up everywhere on this beautiful 60 degree sunny day.

Look up!  Mars is expected to light up the night sky tonight.  It looks like a bright star with an orange tint.  You can see it every two years and it should be 10 times brighter than the brightest star in the sky!

We had 22 friends and classmates arrive for lunch on this beautiful day.

Jerry Richardson very kindly gave the blessing.

Tom Hale and Carl Factor plan on attending the May lunch with their wives.  Several classmates asked about them.  We will spread the word.

Mary Elizabeth Brown Hinkle is planning on attending next month also.

We were sad to learn that Doris Bobst Robinson passed away on March 27 at Cedar Hill Care Center.  Our sympathy goes out to the family.  Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers along with Marty Tanner, and Martha Pettry.  Martha is having a 4 hour stress test today with dye.  Martha said she is not too worried.

Jim and Pat Burkhart arrived home from Florida yesterday.  They have been in Silver Lake Village, FL since January 18.  They are both looking tan and healthy!  We were happy to have them back at our lunch.

Jim shared with us that Stanly Slack was also vacationing at Silver Lake Village with his new wife.  Congratulations and much happiness to both of them.

Bill Factor shared with us that Harry Bronkar will be attending our October 2,3,and 4 (2015) 60th reunion.  Harry said he will be happy to have the Sunday morning service for us.  Bill has reserved the Country Club for our Saturday night event.  He said that prices recently went up and we should probably have our Friday evening and Sunday brunch somewhere else.  Any thoughts that you might have regarding this please send an E-mail to Bill Factor at .

I will be looking forward to seeing all of you on Tuesday May 13 at the Golden Corral at 11:30 AM.
