LUNCH BUNCH, April 10, 2012

We had 28 classmates and friends at our lunch on this cool, sunny day.

We thank Bill Factor (except for the part when he blessed us old people) for giving the blessing today.

Gerald Roberts announced that the reunion committee has met.  They are planning a mini-reunion for October 11, 12, and 13 for the year 2013.  The committee are looking at the VFW, Eagles Club, and the Country Club as places to meet.  If anyone has any suggestions, please call Gerald at 740-452-4324.  Their next meeting will be after our May lunch.

Tom Hale and possibly his wife Mary Ellen and daughter Cindy will be at the May lunch as well as Carl and Becky Factor.  We are hoping for an even better turnout than we had this time.

Gwen announced that Peggy Seaton Mohr has passed away.  We send out sympathies to the family.

Gwen also announced that Dick Waite had a very bad fall when the scaffolding broke that he was standing on.  He landed on his feet and suffered a broken ankle, severely damaged his foot, cut on his head and other cuts and bruises.  He has undergone complete reconstruction of his ankle and foot.  Dick is now in Autumn Health Care and will be there for at least another six to eight weeks for rehabilitation.  Please send get well cards to Dick at Autumn Health Care, 1420 Autumn Drive, Zanesville, OH 43701.  We wish him a speedy recovery.

Sondra Philip is recovering nicely from her knee replacement.  We hope she is back at our May lunch.  Send her a get well card to her address, 4465 Old River Rd, Philo, OH 43771.

Kinsey Tanner said that his wife, Marty, is doing super!

Stanley Slack will be in Zanesville the last week of April to visit family and friends.  Unfortunately, he will not be here for our next lunch.

Cornelia is finished with her cardiac rehab, and attended our lunch today.

Our table was entertained by Martha Pettry and Bill Factor today.  I can't remember when I have laughed so much.  After having a gab fest until 1:45 PM, we said our goodbyes until next month.  We will be meeting next at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 8, at the Golden Corral.

I will leave you with this little thought:  Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.
